Geo-energy for Petroleum Engineers

The Geo-energy for Petroleum Engineers Course Part 1 is designed to provide a helicopter view of industry’s best practices and standards applied for geo-energy project development, energy conversion, and project economics. The course also aims to provide the course participant with an understanding of the difference between and the similarities with petroleum engineering.

The specific target audience of Part 1 are petroleum engineers, however since this course provides a good oversight from exploration to exploitation, the course is certainly also of interest to geoscientist, project managers, services providers and vendors.

Course participant receive a hard-copy of the syllabus ‘Geo-energy for Petroleum Engineers’ and lecture material.


The course shall be given by Manon Stöver. She has a background in petroleum engineering but switched to the geothermal power industry early in her career. She is a geothermal professional and enthusiast with a convincing track record in the worldwide geothermal power industry.
