REN Alliance session at the WGC2015: Sustainable Technology Integration towards 100% Renewable Energy - Case Studies

On Friday, 24 April 2015 a REN Alliance session was held at the WGC2015 in Melbourne. The IGA is one of the five partners of the International Renewable Energy Alliance (REN Alliance). The REN Alliance was formed at the Bonn 2004 International Renewable Energy Conference, and was established to advance policy and information on renewable energy by providing a combined voice for renewable energy technology and practice. Other partners to the REN Alliance include the International Hydropower Association (IHA), the International Solar Energy Society (ISES), the World Wind Energy Association (WWEA) and the World Bioenergy Association (WBA).

The session demonstrated how 100% Renewable Energy can become a reality – through combined technologies and case studies. The keynote address was presented by Prof. Rosalind Archer on 'The New Zealand Renewables Story'. Presentations are available subsequently:
