IGA Newsletter: This is a quarterly newsletter with information on geothermal events, recent developments around the globe, IGA activities, etc.
Geothermal events: Regular geothermal congresses, field trips, workshops. We regularly make arrangements with conference organisers to offer discounts on the registration fees for IGA members. The next World Geothermal Congress 2015 will take place in Melbourne, Australia in April 2015.
Conference database: The database offers about 7,500 technical and scientific articles and other contributions, sorted by author name, keyword and year.
Journal Geothermics: Discount to the professional journal Geothermics, which publishes articles on the theory, exploration techniques and all aspects of utilizing geothermal resources. It is available at a special discounted fee of 76 USD for individuals and students in 2011.
Global Geothermal Database: Herein, information on geothermal energy use (direct use, electricity generation) per region and country is provided. In addition, the database provides global geothermal use maps, the location of geothermal power plants and information on the geothermal industry.
Network opportunities: The IGA is closely linked to its members, geothermal experts and the geothermal business community.
Point of contact: The IGA offers answers to a wide spectrum of geothermal-related inquiries from scientists, engineers, governmental bodies, UN organisations, media, civil society and the public.
